Hi Trish,

They almost always have a large turnout in
tandem.  All the people with teams will hook for
the tandem class too.  You have so much invested
in time and money when you get to the shows that
you try to enter every class that they offer for
you.

Probably the best thing about driving in any of
the classes, is that the horses will just follow
the cart/wagon in front.  In a class that large
everyone goes around together.  They don't
usually allow passing at all.

So if you are driving a tandem, then the leader
just follows the cart in front.  I know some are
very accomplished drivers, but the format makes
it just a whole lot easier to do.  

I helped Culter hook a four up at that show.  Was
fun as I got to see how it was different from
hooking four drafts!

I'm going to have to check out Forest Bliss's
site and see if I can find the pictures of you.
