Martha, the conventional wisdom addressing this issue is to BACK your wheeler,
and ask the leader to go FORWARD. If the lines and traces are not too badly
messed up, this should straighten things out.

I would sometimes practice this maneuver, just to be sure we could pull it off
if
needed. To practice it, ask the wheeler to stand and gradually bring the
leader
around until it is facing you. Then do the back and forward maneuver to
straighten things out. I had to do this for real one time when we
inadvertantly
went down a dead end lane, and we were able to turn in less than our overall
length. It is really nice to have willing ponies to work with!

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, because you are crunchy and taste good
with ketchup.

And I STILL drive too fast to worry about cholesterol!
