Thanks Bob for your response....
I am using Country Carriages synthetic for my single and a generic synthetic
for the pairs...
The pair ponies are not exactly obedient and pull a lot and they pull right
through... I am forever re-collecting my rein purchase...
Of course I am very, very new to this pair stuff and they are testing me to
death I'm sure...
Thanks for your input...
Beverly

Hi Beverly,
I guess it depends on what kind of synthetic lines you have.
I have been using the Zilco marathon reins for single and now pairs
and I find that they stick to my gloves. Its very nice for my
arthrytic hands because they don't slip easily.
If you are using synthetic reins without a rough, sticky surface,
they could be very hard to hold, especially if they are thin and
narrow. I think wider reins are generally easier to hold because
they fit better between your palm and the base of your fingers, so
you don't have to squeeze go hard with your fingers. I wish my
Zilco reins were wider but I do like their non slip surface.
