Sorry all I transposed the near and off horses I hook the horse on the LEFT
of the pole first then the right so you can then mount the carriage. I
realize that sometimes we are alone but I DO NOT RECOMMEND driving multiples
alone
Horses can be unpredictable and if you have a single you have a chance to get
out of trouble with a pair or especially a tandem SHXX HAPPENS rather
quickly A lot of newbies read this and I'd rather they learn a safe method so
driving can fun With practice and the horses getting miles things become
second
nature to all of us Drive safely Jerry 50 miles east of NYC
