[drivingpairs] Here's a pair much closer in age ;)

After reading about a pair of 5 yr olds being green on the CD-L, I had
to chuckle :) ....
How about this pair of Grey Holsteiner colts, June 10, 2004 and May 26,
2005? Now _that's_ green ;) ....

It's hard to compare frame to frame at the same age, as Dude was born
shoulder high, and Hummer was born butt high (just like his full
brother) ... I'll have to wait a bit until Hummer catches up in front ...

Dude is incredibly fascinated with this little guy, and pokes his nose
through the gates and fences wherever he can, and calls to him. And
both are still intact :) ....

I just measured my newborn colt, and much to my surprise, his 90% of
full height cannon bone measurement (I find my Holsteiner babies are 90%
of final cannon bone length at birth, then full length at 6 months of
age) was only 15" --> 16 1/2" at maturity (somewhere between 16.1 and
16.2 hands)! His full brother was already 15.5" at one week (same age
as today). 16.2 H is exactly the height I expect my 2004 Grey
Holsteiner colt Dude to achieve (his cannons, already done, are 16 1/2"
from middle of knee to end of fur on top of hoof, straight line along
front, not curved). So they are really matched for height! Too bad I'm
not into boy horses :) ...

Does anybody have guidelines for what one does to market two horses as a
pair, besides show that they get along well, move similarly, are going
to mature to just about the same height, and offer a (how much?)
discount for the purchase of two ;) ?
