I purchased my first pairs harness from Country Harness in Strasburg, PA
(near rte 30 and Rockvale Square Outlets) 7 yrs ago, russett and brass; and
have been pleased with it. I did replace the breastcollars with slightly
narrower ones, with harness from Driving Essentials (Leola, PA), which is a
step above in quality. The leather harness is put aside for showing now, as
I have a lovely 4 yr old set of Camptown Dave "Godiva" brown harness
(stainless fittings) that I use every day, and for all phases of a CDE if it
is too wet to use the leather. I have had people think the Camptown is all
leather harness, until they see it up close. Camptown Dave is so good at
designing this that I am sure anything for a properly measured mini pair
would be the most versatile and ecomonical buy if you don't want to spend a
lot of time cleaning and polishing, and more than sufficient for entry level
CDE's and pleasure shows. You can't beat harness that takes 15 min to clean
BOTH pony's worth !
