Hello, Folks!
I am JayJay, a lurker from PA, here again to take advantage of your
wonderful knowledge and advice. My question is for those of you who are
familiar
with the Hardwick Puddle Jumper. I understand that it is made for single and
pair. Would any of you be concerned about using it with a four-in-hand (he
will make a crab and leader bar)? Too light? Balance? Mr. Hardwick says he
hasn't had any customers who've used it for four. I'm wondering if there is a
good reason.
I have a friend who has a barnfull of Welsh ponies and has just put
together her 1st four-in-hand. (I stick to playing with her singles and riding
along with her.) She has several carts and traps but no vehicle properly
outfitted for a
navigator. I would like to encourage her to get something that will provide
good grip and foothold for me on the back. This Puddle Jumper looks like
fun. Also, if someone out there has a similar vehicle for sale, I would
consider
a good used marathon style vehicle to fit ponies ranging 11 1/2 to 13 hands.
You may E-mail me privately at MarkleMarch@aol.
Thanks to all of you for lots of great advice.
