Really enjoying this thread and now need some advice from those more
experienced Tandemaniacs out there. It is time for me to think of purchasing a
2-wheeled vehicle, but I'm having some difficulties in deciding on style and
size. Finances say the cart has to be suitable for a single AND tandem and
that's part of the problem. My tandem is 15.0, my other singles are 14.1.
The vehicle I'm currently borrowing has 50" wheels including the rubber. I
really like sitting up this high, as I can really see where I'm going - but
that makes the cart too big for the other singles.
I really like the road cart that Claudette Robinson has (lightweight, well
balanced and within my budget) and am leaning in that direction....I'm just not
sure if the 44" wheels are going to work for my needs.
Input from the experts would be GREATLY appreciated!
Do any of you compete with 4-wheelers and tandems?
Thanx sooooo much!
