Of course, that's still another item which I didn't even touch yet, that of
course the horse also needs his time to build up his muscles for the movements,
and round pen and / or longe work can certainly be a great help with that,
but as anything, needs somebody who knows what he is doing, as a layman can
also
do much damage with applying these training tools incorrectly, and overdoing
them. No problem with the stretching, that's always good, but don't try to
pull him together into a "frame". You need to really know well, what to do
there
and how to work him "through the back" and "onto the bit" with hindquarters
"well engaged". Let an expert show you how to do that properly, and then , when
you can do that, fine, but start out with only a few minutes, don't overdo
it. But if he is "hollow" and "against the bit" nervous and not relaxed than
you are on the wrong track.
