We have a cart to sell, would go very nicely for a
Tandem. Antique, probably 1890's, no name except
Harrison Brass CO. on the hubs. American made, not
European, light weight for size, easy on the horse.
It seems to be a dogcart, real louvers under the seat,
squarish body with stickwork. Curved shafts are
adjustable in height from 15h to 17h. Easy to change
adjustment by moving some blocks on shaft ends with a
pull pin. Color is navy but needs a paint job. Seats
4 back to back. Tailgate fold out to make a bigger
foot board for the rear passengers. Seat adjusts for
leg length with fold-out crank under seat between
front passengers. No seat cushions, but there is a
shared, upholstered back rest for passengers. Large
iron steps for both front sides and the rear seat.
New shafts being put on now. Collinges hubs make it
very easy rolling. Cart has the good details of
quality vehicles.
Husband prefers doing Tandem with 4 wheels now,
doesn't care to drive carts any more. So his cart
needs a new home, been sitting in our carriage shed
too long. Located in Michigan. $1500.00
