British Native Ponies at Dressage at Devon 2004

Dressage at Devon (http://www.dressageatdevon.org
<http://www.dressageatdevon.org/> ) is the premier North American Equestrian
Show of its kind. The 30th edition of this event, which will be held
September 28 - October 3, 2004, will once again combine a WORLD CLASS
DRESSAGE COMPETITION and the WORLD'S LARGEST OPEN BREED SHOW with an
exciting international Fall Festival and special activities for the entire
family.
For the first time in 2004, the Breed Show will also include a MIXED
MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN-HAND COMPETITION, open to all registered BRITISH
NATIVE PONIES, including Fell, Dales, Connemara, Welsh, Dartmoor, Exmoor,
Highland, New Forest and Shetland ponies.
This class will be on Thursday, September 30, 2004, and will be judged by
Bert Morland from the UK, a recognized National Pony Society and Ponies
Association (UK) Judge who is on all of the Mountain & Moorland Breed

40 years experience in judging British native ponies and is also a member of
the Fell Pony Society Council (UK).
A BRITISH NATIVE PONY EXHIBITION will also be held on September 30, and will
include an instructional judging clinic.
The day will conclude with a PARADE OF BREEDS, once again showcasing all the
British native ponies at this prestigious event!
Dressage at Devon benefits Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc.,
one of the oldest and largest therapeutic riding facilities in the nation.
Since 1991, Dressage at Devon has raised over $400,000 for Thorncroft.
The Mountain & Moorland Competition and British Native Pony Exhibition at
