Along with the Max Pope book another to consider is the new book from Canada by
Claude Choiniere and Noel Vinet called "The Pleasures of Carriage Driving".
The book is large with over 300 pages, loads of illustrations and covers
breeds, vehicles, history, harness, basic ground work, training, driving with a
simulator (rein board), dressage and a final chapter on competition. I have it
available for $49 plus shipping.
