Well you asked for it, so here it is. I finally picked up my new carriage
(for the pair) on Friday in Portland, Oregon and spent a day at Happs CDE on
the way home. Even got to fill-in navigate. What a great time! There were
several pairs among the 68 drivers, including one VSE pair, many pony pairs
(lots of Welsh there), at least one or two horse pairs and a four-in-hand of
Warmbloods driven by Marsoe Larose of BC who were INCREDIBLE! A thing of
beauty to watch.
It wasn't until this Wednesday that I finally got to take my new carriage
for a test-drive and WOW, do I love it! It's a Glinkowski Mini 4, and my
boys are 37" tall. They seem to really like it too. What a relief to be able
to drive wherever we want to now and not to have to hunt for perfectly
smooth going. The carriage smoothes out the bumps and ruts and rides
beautifully. Can you tell I'm a little excited?! I'll submit a picture of
our first hook-up, better ones are coming.
