Part III Julius Caesar extinguished himself on the battlefields of Gaul. The Ides of March murdered him because they thought he was going to be made king. Dying, he gasped out: "Tee hee, Brutus." Joan of Arc was burnt to a steak and was canonized by Bernard Shaw. Queen Elizabeth was the "Virgin Queen." As a queen she was a success. When she exposed herself before her troops they all shouted "hurrah." ============== Tips =============== Tech tutorials. http://www.computertim.com/ Digital imaging tutorial. http://snipurl.com/qffj Computer learning and more. http://www.gcflearnfree.org/ ======== Reader Contributions ========= Beginning with our next issue contributors will be permitted to write their own link descriptions if they wish. I don't have children and, possibly strangely, never felt lacking because of it. However, in the past year I've become a "gramma by default"; Don's grandbabies are now mine. We've become closer and baby-sit fairly regularly and I realize I really like little kids. There's a quality of comfort that comes from curling up with a three-year-old to watch a movie or take a nap that's not uncommon, but it's indescribably precious. I remember how it felt the first time one of them yelled, "Lisa, look at me!" So today I'll be celebrating, at least for me, Grandma's Day. 'Til next time. P.S. The world's coolest computer, without software, is like a car without fuel. It might look great, but what can it do? It doesn't matter who produces the software you love and use regularly, the developers of that software need your support. A bit of advice from Internet veteran Bayard J. Fox: New computer users are often in awe of the things you can get without cost on the Internet. There can be hidden costs for the unwary. Use a "throw away" email address to register, and be constantly on guard against giving away personal information. Use a firewall, and provide only the barest minimum of information on questionnaires. ªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªªª This is a reader-supported publication.
