Don's Patch Issue #2005-05-01 from http://www.don-guitar.com

My wedding was wonderful. Here's a few photos but the page will
take a few minutes to load if you have a dial up connection.
http://www.don-guitar.com/wedpx.html
Lisa's taken some wonderful photos of Springtime wildflowers
too but the page is a bit large and will load more slowly than the
wedding photos. http://www.don-guitar.com/wildflowers.html

I have a few more images I'd like to post but they'll have to wait
until next time. Let's get started.

Remember, your input is always welcome. I value your suggestions
and comments, and I'm always willing to help you find answers to
your computer and Internet questions.

That's it for this issue, mainly because I've run out of time.
Special thanks to John Lepse, Karyn Rukin, Sally, and
an anonymous reader, and, oh by the way, John (Lepse)
pointed me to this interesting story
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/massie/
and Sally asked me to remind everyone that some not-so-
nice things often sneak onto your computer by being hidden
in costless things like screensavers. I'm very careful about
listing such programs but I don't claim to be infallible. Be
careful.

Thanks John and Sally

May you all enjoy the best of love and luck. See you next
time.

The most important people on the Internet, for you and I as computer
users, are software developers. The world's coolest computer, without
software, is like a car without fuel. It might look great, but what
can it do? It doesn't matter who produces the software you love and
use regularly, the developers of that software need your support.

A bit of advice from Internet veteran Bayard J. Fox:

New computer users are often in awe of the things you can get without
cost on the Internet. There can be hidden costs for the unwary. Use a
"throw away" email address to register, and be constantly on guard
against giving away personal information. Use a firewall, and provide
only the barest minimum of information on questionnaires.
