Hi,

We have perfomed a couple of test where installing the latest beta of
EaseREader (2.01 Beta 2) over the previous one (1.01 Beta 1). During those
test we have not been able to repeat your problem with EaseReader not
playing books, nor selfvoicing.

If those who have experienced this kind of problem could give any extra
information it would be appreciated.
Informations of interrest:
- Operating system
- Previous installed version of EaseReader (Check About in menu)
- Currently installed version of EaseReader (Check About in menu)
- Previously installed version of SAM
- Currently installed version of SAM
- Previously installed version of Orpheus
- Currently installed version of Orpheus
- Any installed and/or running software, and version of software, that might
affect the behaviour of EaseReader.
- Any settings that might affect the behaviour of EaseReader-

To get an absolutely clean install of EaseReader:
- Uninstall EaseReader
- Uninstall SAM
- Uninstall Orpheus
- Install ER again (will install SAM and Orpheus)

The latest beta of EaseReader (2.01 Beta 2) will install following packages
(version inside paranthesis denotes previous beta):
- EaseReader 2.01.571 Beta 2 (1.10.541 Beta 1)
- SAM 2.03 (2.01)
- Orpheus 2.01 (1.06)
- SAPI 4 API package (same)
- Text to speech engine (same)
- SAPI 5 Runtime (same)

Hi everyone,

I don't know if it is just me or if anyone else has been having a 
problem!  I have installed the latest beta, 2.01, on top of the previous 
version, and now I can't get it to speak!  Neither the self voicing menus 
would talk nor would the play back of books.  I don't know how to 
troubleshoot this.  I went into the preferences and looked at the play back 
settings, and for all I could tell, they were all set up OK.  As for the 
self voicing, I have no idea how to go about troubleshooting that.  Help!
