Hi all,
Just wondering...
Situation:
On upgrade, we basically need to copy data from the old install:
- plugins
- data
- templates
- conf files
Problem:
While copying plugins, data and templates is rather straightforward,
conf files copying is error prone since we have to browse the old conf
directory contents looking for locally modified files.
Solution:
Would it be possible that every locally modified conf files be located
in a subdirectory of conf (e.g. conf/local) so that all
{users,acl}.auth.php, local.php, entities.local.php (that's the one I
forgot ;-)) would be easy to trace ?
I know this does not solve the problem for .ht* or i10n files, yet.
Anyway, thanks a lot for such a pleasing and reliable tool !
