The "use slashes" option only changes how URLs are generated. The syntax remains the same.
Ahh, I understand now.

This is not a bug. Consider what would happen to an existing wiki if this option changed the syntax.... After switching this option, you would have to edit MANY pages in the wiki just to make them render correctly!
As I see, the useslashes enables a new syntax mode, but do not replace the original syntax.
So, what I was spected is that both syntax works at the same time.

The problem I'm facing is having a wiki for non technical users, so, using slashes is already a problem. Imagine what will happen if I told them to use ':' instead of slashes? For non technical people, using ':' for separating directories is a little strange, since there is
no other application were that syntax is used.
The Windows people uses the '\', so I just tell them to replace '\' with '/' that are, in a way,
alike.

But I think having a page to explain this in my wiki can do the job.

If I can make a feature request, this will be it ;)

Regards,
Oliver
