[dokuwiki] Re: pending patches?

First, I have to admit, I'm not following all the details. But I just ran
into this situation on the current release with inch and foot marks.
Will this solution allow for inch or foot marks or similar situations?
For example I tried to use the following combinations of characters: —''— .
DW didn't leave them alone, instead it converted them to —''— not what I
wanted (it converted the inch marks to curly single quotes)...martin

Exactly what I meant. Although I have to admit that re-reading my mail,
I wondered what the heck I meant.

Well, any uncommon character combination, like /< /> \< \> might do, but
they wouldn't be very intuitive :(

I'd add them all, so one have multiple ways of writing them (substituted
characters like << and the picker).
