The first thing I've done was to switch back to the usual flat
buttons. A decisive point for me is that they are completely unusable
in IE, and while I do not use this browser, vast majority of people
does.

mediamanager - but I find them distracting and they make reading some of
the input fields on the configuration settings page difficult.
