Is it a proper and functionall way to

- just install dokuwiki and adjust configuration to your needs
- copy over all files from the backup of the dokuwiki WebserverRoot to
the new directory.
- done.


Before "done" I would add "ensure permissions are correct for all copied 
files."

There's also the "BackupTool" plugin that can make backing up more
automatic (and saves your config data as well.)
