Just to update on my file uploading problem - I installed the dokuwiki
tarballs of 05-07, 07-01 and 07-13.
I tried out 07-01 and uploaded media to that wiki and there was no
problem - preview images in the upload windows worked, and images were
embedded as usual.
After some experimenting, I found the problem was that my conf/local.php
began with:
<?
and not:
<?php
That was it!
Sorry for the noise on the list - serves me right for attempting an
install with little sleep!
Cheers,
Matt
