Sure, when I create a wiki in Persian language (my language!) I use
Persian calendar too. It is very similar to language if we say "Would
people with foreign LANGUAGES want to use it in the Internet? Because
the Internet is more international, people might choose the ENGLISH
LANGUAGE anyway!?"
Ah, thanks for clarifying this.
But I think every people might handle this differently, especially where
a calendar mostly serves a religious purpose. (At least according to
Wikipedia [1] these include the Chinese, Hebrew, Hindu, and Julian
calendars.) And these might prefer the Gregorian calendar?
Sorry, I don't know anything about the actual *usage* of other
calendars, that's why I'm asking.
It would be great to have as many feedback as possible from DokuWiki
users on this list with a different calendar:
* What's your calendar?
* Would you use it in DokuWiki if it was integrated? (Yes|No|In some
projects)
* Optional: What's your country? What's your language? (Not important
for this poll, but might still be interesting.)
Thanks,
Anika
