Yes, I saw the same. The problem was a corrupted darcs repository but
even after a darcs repair it wouldn't work. I think because darcs got
already some patches and didn't know how to cope with the partly applied
patches and the still open ones.
I solved it the same way as you did: Getting the repository from scratch :-(
