There are some thoughts about an image gallery under:
http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:discussion:images?s=gallery
In combination with andras announce for a "new image detail feature" I
thought about something like a gallery plugin.
Here is my idea:
Pictures should be resized before upload.
Thumbs and pics in the same folder, thumbs named like thispic-thumb.jpg
(when the original pic is called thispic.jpg)
Upload (ftp) this folder to /media
Crate a new page, here we need a new tag like
[[path/to/new/gallery-folder|create-newgallery]]
Saving the new page with this tag will create a page with all thumbs as a
preview for "new image detail feature".
What do you think?
