[dokuwiki] bug or feature -- unable to symlink to template

Hi,

I was wondering if this is a bug or a feature..
In my template directory, I have a symlink to the actual version of my template so that I can have multiple DW versions that are using the same template. If I change from using my template to say, the default template, then I can't switch back to my template in the config manager because it doesn't list symlinked templates. Is there a reason for this, or is this a bug that I should add to bugs.splitbrain.org..? 
(I'm running an older version, 2008-05-13...)
