hi list,
while still working on the fckw plugin (a brainstorming request about
fckw will follow), i prepare for the next plugin in mind. it should
be a template plugin. but instead of starting right away with it, i'd
like to ask the community for tips...
what problem is the plugin supposed to solve:
especially in corporate environments with structured documentation
tasks, you might want a standard page layout. this could be for
clients descriptions, projects, requests, ect...
basic ideas are:
* every page within a given namespace is a template
* the plugin adds a button to the editor, that enables
the insertion of a template in the page you are currently
editing
* a template is either of type "insert" or "replace"
* insert: insert the wiki code at the cursor position
* replace: replaces the whole page
what do you think about this?
would you choose a totally different approach?
any input is welcome ;)
greetings.
pierre.
