[dokuwiki] book navigation features

I am trying to replace a laTex document with a dokuwiki and I am
missing some nice features that arise from having everything
ultimately end up in one big document. So far, dokuwiki has been
really easy to learn and very user friendly. Lots of great mods too!
I think a lot of these would require the namespace to have some sort
of awareness of its contents (I am using one of the sidebar templates,
so that could be used to find ordering).
* A dynamic central TOC
I really like the little dynamic page TOC, is there anyone working on
one that works like that for a whole namespace (or bigger?)
*Automagic Heading numbers
So you would just do something like have a <section> tag and it would
figure out its number
I am also currently using an external script (kindly shared by another
project) to publish the namespace to a pdf. I am interested in making
this a more flexible internal wiki solution but I am not really sure
where to start (or if such a solution is already being worked on).
Anyway, I didn't see much mention of bookish projects (besides a
request for one on one of the plugin pages) so I thought I would see
if y'all had any thoughts/opinions on the mater.
Thanks for a great wiki system!
