I plan to do a WCAG audit of DokuWiki this month.
Just a quick status report...
I have finished the WCAG audit and further tests with assistive technologies
within the first two days. I thought I could spend the whole of the third day
(today) raising all the relevant issues on GitHub. But I needed more time
double checking things and filling the spreadsheet properly in which I collect
the issues.
I plan to raise the GitHub issues over the coming weekend.
Some quick stats:
I found fails under 16 (of the 50) WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
Altogether I found 57 WCAG fails and 53 other accessibility issues. But some of
those are overlapping and can be covered by the same fix. Therefore I don't
plan to raise 110 issues on GitHub but will bundle related issues into one.
I'll let you know when I have finished creating those issues on GitHub.
