[dokuwiki] Re: Using Clipboard

Hello,

Don't know it this would work for you. If the link's content only
contains the ID, in Safari you can control-click the link and choose

This is the "by hand" solution. What i was looking for is an half-automated solution to aid users in setting links. For this they need as string like [[ns1:ns2:ns3:page]]. So my thoughts are to go to that page i wanted to link, click on an "Copy Link" into the clipboard, then go(or just switch window) to my source page and click "Paste Link".

Quick googling shows that this is a "IE-only" solution. Other browsers don't seem to support this.

For my own use I made a small dot "." having the link to the current page, so that I could use it to copy the page url to other places. (In FF rmb-> copy link location). I needed this since my site is using redirect(?) (302) from www.valjakko.net to the current service provider koti.mbnet.fi. I prefer to paste the "correct" page name (www.valjakko.net/something) in emails and so on when needed.
