[dokuwiki] Text editor buttons ceased to work after recent upgrade

Hi all,
after the recent upgrade of DokuWiki to version 2009-12-25c "Lemming", the text editor buttons
ceased to work.
That is, I cannot click any more on e.g. the smilies button in order to insert smilies. Same is true
for all other buttons. Instead, nothing happens at all.
Firebug reports (both when viewing and editing pages):
Expected declaration but found '/'. Skipped to next declaration.
hasOwnProperty()
sack(Object { name="file"})
js.php?tseed=1264164358()
at js.php...4164358 (line 1)
May this be this related?
What can I do?
