[dokuwiki] Re: Stuck: the install does not work for me

Hi, someone left me a message recently that they were running DW using
XAMPP successfully; I don't have an email for this person but I'll say
it can be done.

conf/users.auth.php is not writable 

I'm not 100% sure why you'd not have this writable...

Debugging support is enabled. If you don't need it you should set
$conf['allowdebug'] = 0


Disable debugging...

So when I click on the create this page button for start I get:

File /Start not found 

Just to verify, you should be using lowercase names for all files. If
you try to use uppercase, it probably will not work.

I would also verify your installation against the screencast just in case.
