Did you search with the quotes for an exact match? >"2.1.14"< works just
fine for me. However there seems to be a bug: Searching for >2.1.14<
without quotes does a lookup for 2 and 4 internally - I'm not quite sure
why.

Again do a phrase search or else it will look for >net< AND >pc14<

No. It should show a snippet arround the first found word (either
network or host, whichever comes first) and then will highlight both
words in the snippet.

Snippet production is more than suboptimal but I couldn't come up with a
utf-8 aware performant solution yet. Patches welcome.
