[dokuwiki] Re: Search for offline wiki?

A client-side search would have to traverse all pages on the site and
build an index (and continuously refresh that index).  Do you have any
way of doing a server-side search instead?

Try this, it seems to be a client side search that uses google and
yahoo for searching a site. 
http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/multi_site_search.shtml

Of course your site has to have been crawled by google/yahoo/msn for
this to work, and when you update a page it might not get picked up by
google/yahoo/msn for a while.
