Can you give an URL to the feed in question? 

No sorry, it is on an intranet, but let me explain:

- server runs apache SSL
- access is restricted by HTACCESS ldap authentication but only for external hosts
- internal hosts do not need to authenticate
- the webserver runs dokuwiki and b2evolution

I try to integrate the weblog rss into dokuwiki

As far as I can trace it could be the https of magpie/rss_fetch.php that is not supported.

Any debug info would be welcome.
