You are in fact correct. It turns out that had configured APC
incorrectly, and it was caching DokuWiki, which was causing the scope
resolution problems.

No problems, I'm glad its all sorted.
There seem to have been a few mentions of APC in the mailing list
recently. Perhaps you could start a tips page at wiki.splitbrain.org
for using Dokuwiki with APC. Just a thought.

Dokuwiki problem, as such I have no idea how to work around it.
You are in fact correct. It turns out that had configured APC incorrectly, and it was caching DokuWiki, which was causing the scope resolution problems.
