I have tried with multi-wiki installations ... including this problem.
I solved that by using a hash of the absolute path of the wiki.

Been kinda out of touch with DokuWiki ... so will need to check out
the latest and see if I can tidy up my work as a series of patches.
Anybody interested in taking this further?
