Dear Andreas! Dear maillist members!

I would like to return the to topic, which I raised long time ago,
because it simply does not let me sleep well :)

My big wish is to enable formatting inside links, like

[[http://google.com|//Very// nice **site**]]

Andreas replied that this is not possible within DokuWiki. But can I,
for example, reuse the same technique as for footers? Footers support
formatting. Can somebody tell me the role of Doku_Handler_Nest and why
'footnote' is 'formatting' and not 'substition'?

I also want to integrate the ideas from the following plugins into the core:

http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:revlink

Is it worse doing visa versa: write a new plugin and extract the needed
code from the core? As I want new functionality to be introduced for
internallink, I don't want to copy the complete method
inc/parser/handler.php:422:internallink()
