I've tested my situation and things get flakey at about 3,000 lines.
With dokuwiki's intuitiveness I'll be able add pages to extend it with
very little effort and no noticible changes to visitors.

No. But memory and processing time are some limits you may hit.

And long pages are generally not a good idea in a web environment.
Consider splitting it in smaller pages.
