Having just gone through this myself, there was an old post that indicated
to touch the local.php file.  That did the trick for me.

 

touch conf/local.php

I must be missing something. I just uploaded an icon for a new file type,
and I'm still getting the generic document icon. The permissions on this new
image are the same as the rest:

 

-rw-r--r--  1 nobody nobody 663 May  8  2008 pdf.png

 

-rw-r--r--  1 nobody nobody 1001 Nov 13 12:10 oft.png

 

I've verified (over and over again) that the file extension is indeed "oft".
The link is {{:it_procedures_and_notes:weekly_numbers.oft|Outlook template}}
and it works perfectly.

 

Is there something in the cache that I need to clear out? That doesn't seem
to make sense, but how would I do that?
