Was thinking the same thing, but what if the source wiki has a database
back-end? And what if the source wiki mark-up is very different?

I suppose the question I'm really asking, what is the source wiki (and
then perhaps someone here has already done such a conversion).

Chris,

Copy your text files from the other wiki to the [DocuWiki]\Data
directory. Any spaces in the text file names must be replaced by _.
You can create sub folders in this directory to further organise your
files. Open DocuWki and select index and it will read all your moved
files.
