Hello...
Maybe this is a more appropriate forum than bugs.splitbrain.org...
Anyway I am just taking Bug#510 [1] here, because I rather wanted to
hear someone elses Opinion on what I did:
I wanted to add the ability to allow Hostbased read access - and still
allow users to log in to gain higher rights like editing.
I decided to have "host accounts" (<fqdn>:*:<some fullname>:<some
email>:<groups>) in the auth-Backends database, so that I could assign
groups to FQDNs. I have only tested against Release 2005-07-13 and
''$conf['authtype'] = 'plain';'' but maybe it also works with different
methods.
After battling some time with darcs, I seem now to have a 11Kb patch
file for 10 lines added to inc/auth.php - seems like the last TAG I have
is the release of 2005-07-13. How do I change that?
Me testing against current devel takes some time, because I'd need to
upgrade my install to devel first.
bye
Christian
