hi myron,
first i'd like to thank you for pointing out the flaws found on the
documentation page.
I have one question concerning the uploading and use of images.
Would it be possible to link the images icon to DokuWiki's
mediamangager?
i have been thinking about this myself. i think this will get into
the next release. i really like the native Dokuwiki media manager...
especially for it's ACL support.
As an update to this--I downloaded Fireox 2,0 for OS X and that
works with GCK. So the problem seems to be (as often it is in
earlier versions of Safari) a Safari problem.
i tried the FCKeditor 2.5 with Safari 3, and it seems to work pretty
well. though i think you'll soon get to love firefox for it's
fantastic extensions ;)
I had been trying to find out why plugins wouldn't install for
FCKW and looked at fckeditor.net support forums. I noticed one
person who said that FCK wouldn't work on a MAC. So, I tested it
out on my 2 year old emac, running Panther (OS X 10.3.9) and it
turns out that it's true. In Safari, the FCK tookbar doesn't
appear, and in Firefox (version 1.0) the toolbar appears but the
wiki page's text doesn't print to the screen. I was wondering
whether anyone had any similar problems. It would be helpful to
know the limitations of this sotware
i'll try do put that in the documentation after xMAs..
greetings.
pierre
