It depends on the kind of the wiki ...

That's a good idea. A user should be able to use some kind of discussion
system: Either a forum (which should be maintained through a partner), or
discussion pages (like in mediawiki -- preferably integrated into dokuwiki,
but configurable) or the existing discussion plugin.
I am not yet sure what kind of system I prefer ...
