  Maybe an SCM neutral action plugin which acts on IO_WIKIPAGE_READ
  and IO_WIKIPAGE_WRITE events feeding them to an external program.
  I haven't tried yet. That would only put pages under the SCM, not
  the media files, and the diff/revisions display would still have
  to be adapted to take information from the repo and not from the
  attic/meta/changes files.

  WebDAV support in DokuWiki could also help pushing changes from or
  to an SCM.
