[dokuwiki] Re: Cannot edit pages, only says Show Page

Thanks for the continued help :-)

OK, and http://tyk/dokuwiki/install.php does not complain that there are
pages unwritable now? Then we can continue in DokuWiki.

No ir does not complain. When I go to it it says :
{DOCUMENT_ROOT}//dokuwiki/conf/local.php already exists
{DOCUMENT_ROOT}//dokuwiki/conf/users.auth.php already exists
{DOCUMENT_ROOT}//dokuwiki/conf/acl.auth.php already exists

Can you login to your wiki?

Sorry I have not been clear anough. I can logon no problem, ACL is enabed.
What I described in the last mail occurs when I a logged in.

if you can login, but still don't get "Edit" buttons, check your ACLs. It's
a somewhat mysterious configuration... see
http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:acl.

I'll do more reading there, though I tried the faq's etc before starting
this post.

BTW, when your wiki config makes sense ;-) you will see an "Admin"
button on the page after logging on. After clicking on it, you may use
the "Configuration Settings" to check basic config, "User manager" for
managing user accounts and "Access Control List Management" to modify
the ACLs.

I can do all that no problem and used the settings page to update the
creation modes as you described.

Thanks, Tom.
