*The whole truth* is that all wiki's in the world manages text and their
versions
and none that I know of (even among commercial ones) does the same with
media.

Remember that wiki's were designed to be simple... (that's why they are so
readily accepted)
That having n versions of a single multi-mega media file is quite ... huge.
