Greetings,
I have released the authentication module for dokuWiki (2005-05-07+)
using phpBB (2.0.17+) user/group database, along with several patches
required to have these two work together.
User creation implemented as well.
The archive can be downloaded from my blog, http://goldgatherer.net
License: GPL (of course).
