[dokuwiki] Adding Google Adsense in DW

Hi,
I'm testing adding Google Adsense in a DW wiki.

I tryied modifying the main.php and it worked, but the add is showed also
in the Print preview and while editing a pagina and in the administration page.
My cuestion is if there is a better way to adding ads in DW, perhaps some CSS 
like the printing CSS that hide some buttons while in print preview
