Ok. I just tried to upgrade to the current vwersion. I backed up and
followed the upgrade installations at
http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:install:upgrade
I had to set permissions for all the data folders & conf : chmod 777
There is no login option for me anymore and I now get :
User authentication is temporarily unavailable. If this situation persists,
please inform your Wiki Admin.
DokuWiki version: Release 2006-11-06
Consider upgrading PHP to 4.3.10 or higher for security reasons (your
version: 4.3.3)
Datadir is writable
Attic is writable
Mediadir is writable
Cachedir is writable
Lockdir is writable
conf/users.auth.php is not writable
mb_string extension not available - PHP only replacements will be used
Debugging support is disabled
Your current permission for this page is 8
The current page is not writable by the webserver
The current page is writable by you
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Tom.

Debugging support is enabled. If you don't need it you should set
$conf['allowdebug'] = 0
Your current permission for this page is 4
The current page is not writable by the webserver
The current page is writable by you
Is the problem line - The current page is not writable by the webserver ?
